We are currently seeking a Prep Person to join our Back of House team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the preparation of high-quality ingredients that meet our strict standards. The Prep Person will be responsible for preparing and organizing various cold food items to contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of perishable items.
- Collaborate with Back of House team members to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food items.
- Adhere to all Chick-fil-A policies and procedures, including safety and cleanliness standards.
- Assist in inventory management and report any shortages or discrepancies.
- Follow proper food handling and storage guidelines to prevent food waste and ensure freshness.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food preparation is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to follow recipes and guidelines accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must adhere to Chick-fil-A's appearance and grooming standards.
