Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Head Bartender responsible for leading the complete bar operation. This role ensures excellence in service, product quality, cleanliness, team performance, and guest experience while maintaining full control of systems such as inventory, scheduling, and operational standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–4 years of bartending experience (leadership preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of classic and modern cocktails
- Strong understanding of spirits, wine, and bar operations
- Experience managing inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Ability to lead a team in high-volume environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health standards
Responsibilities:
- Bar Operations: Lead bar service from the floor, ensuring speed, consistency, and presentation while maintaining full control of cleanliness and organization.
- Drink Execution: Prepare and supervise all beverages according to recipes and standards.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain full mastery of cocktail menu, spirits, wine basics, and food pairings.
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and develop bar staff, enforcing standards and maintaining team accountability.
- Guest Experience: Engage with guests, deliver high-level hospitality, and handle guest concerns professionally.
- Inventory Management: Manage weekly counts, control product usage, reduce waste, and maintain proper stock levels.
- Ordering & Cost Control: Place and manage orders, ensuring pars are met and costs are controlled.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to sanitation standards, health regulations, and prevent cross-contamination.
- Systems & Administration: Manage schedules, prep lists, checklists, and communicate operational needs with management.
- Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational bar at all times.
