General Manager - Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

We are looking for a great general manager who loves working with people and wants to contribute to a fast growing company. We are looking for the person who is passionate about restaurant management with high standards. He or she can provide outstanding leadership to the team and create a high-quality guest experience. The ideal candidate is looking for career and personal growth and has at least two years of restaurant general management experience, preferably in a high volume fast-casual or quick-service concept, or a full service restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Teaches and practices the Freddy’s standards of Hospitality, Quality, and Cleanliness.
- Leads by example, is vocal and prepared.
- Always willing to learn and is receptive to coaching and constructive criticism.
- Is willing to work alongside team members and do what is necessary for the success of restaurant.
- Able to observe, analyze and execute improvements
- Maintains a sense of urgency and intensity at all times.
- Recruits, builds and develops a team of talented individuals
- Assesses staff performance, always coaches and develops.
- Consistently models exceptional Hospitality in every instance.
- Ensures efficiency in labor and food costs.
- Maintains the restaurant and its equipment.
- Motivates and is always team building.
Requirements:
- Must have prior restaurant general manager experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-casual, quick-service restaurant or full service restaurant.
- Always willing to learn and is receptive to coaching
- Must be able to work up to a 10-hour shift while standing or walking to perform essential functions
- Must be willing to work a variety of shifts - including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure the safety of all parties
- Will require full range of physical motion such as: bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, etc.
