Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and identify their gardening needs
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of plants and services offered at Botanic
- Provide guidance on different kinds of plants and their care
- Stay informed about weekly promotions and sales
- Assist customers by checking them out and helping them to their vehicle
- Help with moving and displaying newly arrived plants
- Assist with daily care and maintenance for all the live plants
- Perform various tasks as directed by management to ensure a smooth operation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience
- Strong horticultural knowledge is essential
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player willing to assist in various nursery duties
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends (including Sundays), especially during the busy spring season
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to handle challenging customer service situations professionally
