Duties & Responsibilities:
Assistant Managers lead our Sunshine Squad to ensure customers receive excellent customer service while brand standards are consistently exceed expectations. They connect with both customers and crew, helping to make Tropical Smoothie Cafe the destination of choice for quick, healthy meals.
- Provide excellent customer service exceeding guests' expectations
- Ensure cafe exceeds brand standards for food safety, customer service, cleanliness, and speed of service
- Monitor sales growth & cost control of the café against the budgeted expectation & historical performance, to ensure that profit goals are met.
- Maintain & exceed customer expectations to build brand loyalty.
- Present a consistent, professional image of the café & crew by maintaining all sanitation & appearance standards.
- Communicate & stay updated on all marketing & promotional materials.
- Execute marketing & sales programs following appropriate guidelines.
- Order and maintain inventory to efficiently meet store operations requirements and established COGS metrics
- Schedule work force to efficiently meet customer demands and established labor targets
- Effectively manage targets goals such as labor, cost of goods, and customer service
- Train new crew members on all operations aspects of cafe
- Cash Management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in the restaurant, fast-casual, service related field required. Leadership or managerial experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house & back of the house.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Effective verbal & written communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
