Our content is one of the most important ways for people to understand who we are and what we stand for. We offer a breadth of brands and a hands-on learning experience that covers social media, direct marketing and branding. The copywriting intern plays a key role in shaping how our stories are told across every one of our 13 brands, across every platform. From headlines to tagline, social copy to long-form editorial — our intern will explore, understand and practice various styles of writing, while growing to appreciate marketing and creative strategy.


We are looking for individuals with a flair for the English language, with passion and ambition for copywriting and content strategy. Above all, you should have a mind for compelling and engaging marketing and social content. This role works closely with the passionate designers, photographers, strategists and marketeers in our team— the copywriting intern will be mentored directly by the Senior Copywriter in the creative department.


Scope of work:

  • Familiarise yourselves with our portfolio and relevant target audience.
  • Liaise with internal teams and interpret their briefs.
  • Write clear, persuasive and impactful copy for the social and digital realm. The nature of the work includes social posts, IGS, short and long-form videos, marketing headlines, brand taglines, and communicative materials such as eDMs and more.
  • Edit and proof-read copy for spelling, grammar and tone of voice.
  • Research (including in-person interviews and desktop research) and participate in brainstorms, photoshoots and workshops across our brands.

Of course, each individual grows at their own pace; along the way, we may review your scope of work to benefit your personal growth and ambitions.


Ideally, you should be:

  • Adaptable and discerning, in order to best understand your briefs and/or meet objectives.
  • Passionate about F&B, Hospitality and all it encompasses: people, stories, magic-making.
  • Nimble with your words and coherent with your thoughts.
  • Able to consider content holistically (not just in terms of copy, but also in working with our Art Directors for visuals).
  • Any previous working experience in publication, an agency or a background in content creation, while not required, is a plus.
