Job Title: Hiring Manager Intern
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hiring Manager Intern to support our recruitment and hiring processes. This role is ideal for someone interested in human resources, operations, or talent acquisition who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the hiring manager with day-to-day recruiting tasks
- Review resumes and screen candidates based on job requirements
- Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars with candidates and team members
- Communicate with applicants via email and phone in a professional manner
- Help maintain and update applicant tracking systems and candidate records
- Participate in interview processes (note-taking, candidate evaluation support)
- Support onboarding tasks for new hires (paperwork, coordination, etc.)
- Assist in posting job listings across platforms (Indeed, Workstream, etc.)
- Help improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience, following up with candidates post-hiring.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Comfortable using Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Interest in HR, recruiting, or operations
- Interest in moving to a position on staff
- Experience with scheduling or administrative work
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or hiring platforms
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university program (Business, HR, Communications, or related field preferred)
