Job Summary:
We are a rapidly growing restaurant looking for Servers to enhance our Company. We are looking for creative, motivated people with the ability to work in a fast-paced and teamwork-oriented environment. You will need to have high energy, a positive attitude, be organized, have basic serving skills, and be communicative. You will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Front of the House Managers. This position requires nights and weekends each month.
Requirements:
- Be able to be on your feet for 4-10 hours
- Knowledge of service standards
- Be able to lift and carry 10-20 lbs.

Responsibilities:
- Serves guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner
- Provides information to help food and beverage selections
- Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner
- Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude
- Prepares room for dining by setting tables, chairs, condiments, and service utensils
- Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Helps guests select food and beverages by suggesting menu items (including upselling), explaining the menu offerings, and answering food preparation questions
- Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests’ choices and identifying guests’ allergies, special dietary needs and requests
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars
- Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, providing tools, refilling water glasses, and being alert to guest spills or other special needs
- Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting guests to return
- Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests
