Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Handyman with professional plumbing experience to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, from fixing a leaky faucet to repairing drywall, replacing light fixtures, or tackling small carpentry projects. Applicants must be available to work night shifts as part of a rotating schedule or as needed for after-hours service calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of handyman services, including general repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Handle light plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, clearing drains, and installing water heaters
- Complete minor electrical work (light switches, outlets, fixtures) as allowed by licensing requirements
- Conduct carpentry repairs, painting, drywall work, and other general home or facility improvements
- Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Deliver excellent customer service, explaining work performed and answering questions
- Keep accurate records of work performed, time, and materials used
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a handyman or general maintenance technician
- Plumbing experience required; plumbing license a plus
- Knowledge of multiple trades such as electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repair
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work night shifts and respond to after-hours service needs
Preferred Skills
- Plumbing license (Journeyman or Master)
- Experience with commercial and residential maintenance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
