About the Role:
Ostlund, a trusted name in facilities maintenance and specialized services, is seeking dedicated Tile/Facilities Technicians to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and installing tile and supporting overall facility upkeep for commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace ceramic and VCT tile.
- Perform grout sealing, patching, and surface preparation with sanded and epoxy.
- Carry out general facility maintenance duties (minor plumbing, light carpentry, fixture repairs).
- Maintain a clean and safe job site during and after installations.
- Accurately document work performed using provided software or forms.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in tile installation or general facilities maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints and tile layout plans.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC is a plus.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours including night shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations.
