Assistant Manager (AM) - Jersey Mike's Subs (Houston, TX)

Position Overview: Assistant Manager (AM) of a new Jersey Mike’s franchise in the River Oaks area of Houston, Texas.

Currently, we’re looking to fill the Assistant Manager (AM) role to join us as we deliver on this mission. The Assistant Manager (AM) will ideally grow with us as we continue to open Jersey Mike’s locations in the Houston area and be poised for higher managerial positions.

Job Requirements:

-        Friendly and approachable, you’ll be on the front line greeting customers and introducing them to the Jersey Mike’s brand.

-        Willing to learn the ropes of the quick service industry, which can often be a fast paced environment – but always centered around delivering the best service possible!

-        Able to prepare fast, flawless and tasty sandwiches.

-        Able to take direction and feedback from management, bettering both you and us.

-        Handle payments from customers, accurately and with purpose.

-        Maintain the restaurant to the cleanest standards for our guests. AM will need a food manager certificate (i.e. FoodServ).

-        Available to work short/long shifts to meet the needs of the lunch and dinner shifts (flexibility is helpful).

- 1-2 years experience in the quick service restaurant industry.

Job Location: New location in the River Oaks area. (Houston, Texas)

Job Shifts: Varies (including morning / evening times)

Previous Experience? 1-2 years of food service experience in a fast paced environment preferable. But what we’re really looking for are teammates with passion for service and the ability to learn and develop over time.
