As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining referral relationships within our service territory.
Position Summary:
As a Field Sales Representative, you will be the face of ServiceMaster Restore in the community, responsible for driving revenue through relationship development with insurance agents, property managers, adjusters, first responders, and other potential referral sources. This role includes active participation in fire chases, agency visits, networking events, and other business development initiatives to generate leads and grow market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job Chasing: Respond promptly to active fire and water events to introduce ServiceMaster Restore to property owners, emergency personnel, and other key contacts on-site.
- Agency Visits: Conduct regular in-person visits to insurance agencies, real estate offices, property management companies, and similar referral partners.
- Networking: Attend industry events, chamber of commerce meetings, trade shows, and local community events to promote brand awareness and generate business leads.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including insurance adjusters, agents, contractors, and first responders.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement marketing and sales plans, track leads, and follow up on opportunities to ensure consistent pipeline development.
- Territory Management: Manage an assigned territory effectively by planning daily travel routes, meeting visit quotas, and reporting on activities using CRM software.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent ServiceMaster Restore in a professional manner at all times, ensuring our brand is positively positioned in the market.
- Production Coordination: Coordinate sales efforts with team members of our production department
Job Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field
- Knowledge of the Disaster Restoration field desired
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Skilled using smartphones, computer, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other web-based applications
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work after hours, as well as be on call
- Build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships
- Can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
- Local and regional travel required for trade shows, training, and other networking events
- Skilled using social media and other web-based sales tools
