Brooks' BBQ is looking for a night cleaner who has a great attitude and attention to detail.
As an employee of Brooks' House of Bar-B-Q, you are joining a family and a team that has been in business since 1951. For the night cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning the main restaurant, restrooms, kitchen and pit. Hours will be from 8pm-3am Tuesday-Sunday, off Monday's.
Brooks' BBQ is a family owned and operated restaurant and carryout business where the owner and managers are all hands on to ensure the customer’s satisfaction and that the team is never left hanging.
Duties include and are not limited to the following:
- Cleaning, disinfecting, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and removing/replacing/dumping trash bags
- Ensure cleanliness of areas; offices, restaurant, pit, rest rooms, kitchens, employee locker rooms and break room, and other areas as needed
- Cleaning windows, walls, ceilings and vents
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Using equipment such as mops, brooms, vacuums, carts, gloves, and other equipment
- Resupplying items such as bath tissues, paper towels, soap, and other items
- Using chemical-based cleaning products to disinfect, sanitize, and generally clean areas
- Following policies, procedures, and practices, including matters related to Safety
- Other duties and responsibilities within the scope of work as assigned
Requirements include and are not limited to the following:
- Previous experience working as a Janitor is preferable but not needed
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferable but not needed
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, lift, carry, push, and/or pull
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be responsible and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
