We are a franchise that is growing in the surrounding areas and are looking for individuals who are motivated and driven to grow with us. We are looking to open our 3rd location in the coming months. Currently looking for a General Manager to run our Carter Hill Rd location when we open.


A Huey Magoo’s General Manager is the Coop Master. Consistent in the brand's message that is trained, coached, and upheld in day-to-day operations. The General Manager is challenged with leading by example. They also take an integral part in introducing the brand to our newest brand partners, supporting the corporate operations and training team, and consistent execution of brand standards. In addition, always seeking to provide training and development opportunities for team members within our franchise. A Huey Magoo’s General Manager is proactive, involved, present, organized, energetic, and a great listener. Leading each day’s agenda to a positive outcome. Self-driven with the ability to connect with people as people and communicate effortlessly. Our General Manager is consistent with teaching the proven and current methods that make our restaurants successful and profitable every day. Driving excellence and producing bottom-line results to the P&L is second only to being committed to the quality of the employee experience in our restaurant. This top-profile, face-forward, and exciting position demands a handcrafted fusion of professional acumen, organization, teaching skills, and creativity. This candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to introduce and teach predefined processes. A sense of urgency is critical to success.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform all job responsibilities and accountabilities. The items listed in this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to work well independently as the leader and head coach of a team environment, aptitude to overcome barriers, multitask, and accomplish tasks by the established deadline, and within a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs at a time
  • Proficient with safety and sanitation guidelines/expectations.
  • 50-55 work week, including days/nights and weekends.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience as a General Manager in a QSR or Fast Casual restaurant setting
  • Education directly related to training, culinary, hospitality, or related fields preferred
  • Manager Food Safety certification required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience with online ordering systems is a plus
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:

  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $65,000.00 per year
  • Bonuses: Bonus % of profit (once through training and controlling the store)
