Daigle Fire Solutions has been around for over 2 years and is growing fast! We are hiring Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning (KEC) Technicians and have a need for dayshift technicians in the Albany area that can be trained to also do some deficiency work. If you are a self-disciplined quick learner wanting a stable, long-term job we offer a 4-week paid training program at a minimum rate of $20/hour, and after 60 days your pay could increase up to $24/hour. We pay to get you IKECA certified and that comes with an additional $2/hr (and future pay increases based on performance).

Essential Functions:
- Getting to pre-scheduled appointments on time
- Work mostly early in am but also have availability for overnight at least once a month, in and outside of the facility
- Often work alone or with a helper and must be able to interact professionally with restaurant management and staff and be honest and trustworthy
- Inspections, clean up and some maintenance
- Taking photos of work
- Driving to and from job to warehouse
- Filling out essential compliance paperwork
- Keeping truck and equipment in working condition
- Cleaning Kitchen Exhaust Systems including Fans
- Roof, Filters, Working safely with ladders and chemicals
- Utilize job specific software
- Utilize phone, email, text, and other means of communication
- Ability to acquire a company sponsored Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning certificate
Job Requirements:
Valid Driver's License
Ability to work overnight and early morning, daytime hours.
Consistent dependability
Good customer service skills
Leadership skills, ability to motivate, provide direction and work well with team members
Light mechanical ability - work with hand and power tools
Ability to lift 60 lbs.
Safety minded in all situations
Pending experience and credentials, technicians start at a uniform pay range. Evaluations and compensation adjustments are offered at 6 months and/or upon the completion of a company sponsored Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning certificate.
Hours: Full Time (overtime when available)
A typical shift will start sometime between 4 am and 10 am and 7 pm - 6 am and last 6-10 hours on average. Typically, you will clean 2 restaurants in one shift. Work needs to be done while the restaurants are closed, which for most customers is early morning / late night. There will be some jobs that need to be done during nighttime hours, but the vast majority of the work will be done at early morning.
