Server Job Responsibilities / Duties
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
- On time and attends all shift meetings
- Follow all health and alcohol beverage service standards
- Greet and guide guest through our ordering and payment process
- Take orders from guests for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelines
- Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problems
- Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
- Up selling by being proactive with suggestive selling and prompt service and alerting guests of specials, promotional items or events
- Maintain a clean workspace, adhering to food safety sanitation and safety guidelines
- Clear and sanitizing tables
- Ensuring that all guests leave happy
Requirements:
- Two (2) years minimum experience as a Server
- Current Texas Food Handler and TABC Certifications are required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent guest relations skills
- Great guests satisfaction expectations and focus
- Must have good Transportation
