- Preventative maintenance is key, a Marine Service Advisor must believe in this concept and apply it to all vessels to ensure customers fix, repair and maintain their vessels to avoid breakdowns.
Job Duties
- Providing customers with product information and availability, estimated time of arrival of goods and product recommendations
- Ensure customer expectations and timeliness of repairs are met by managing parts orders, inventory and technician productivity
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Manage daily paperwork from vendors
- Shop parts and prices to provide best service to customers
- Handly quality checks on customer vessels
- Resolve customer complaints and address concerns
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and staff to provide a good and productive work environment.
