Small Engine Technician Job Description:
- Diagnose and repair customer equipment in an efficient manner. This may include but is not limited to lawnmowers, snowblowers, generators, tillers, and handheld equipment
- Set up new equipment
- Record repairs made, time spent, and parts using the computer software
- Less frequently the service tech will be asked to assist the rental department with repairs of their equipment when necessary. This may include but is not limited to skid steers, aerial lifts, tractors, and small lawn and garden equipment.
- Assist customers with parts sales
Auto Technician Job Requirements
- Willing to work on a weekend rotation
- Overtime in busy seasons
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Two years small engine experience or two year associates degree
- Must possess the ability to stay on task complete work in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to follow company policies
- Valid driver’s license
