We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and initiative-driven Kitchen Team Leader to support our Directors in leading back-of-house operations, developing team members, and ensuring every meal is prepared with excellence. This is an opportunity to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on the team, the restaurant, and the community.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Directors in executing daily kitchen operations with a strong focus on food quality, food safety, speed of service, and operational excellence.
  • Lead by example with initiative, urgency, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coach and encourage kitchen team members while helping build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with training and developing new and existing team members while helping identify future leaders.
  • Help ensure efficient execution during high-volume meal periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain high standards for food safety, cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in accordance with Chick-fil-A and health department standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, waste reduction, and operational goals.
  • Work alongside the leadership team to execute restaurant initiatives and continuously improve kitchen performance.
  • Help create a positive work environment where team members feel supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in a restaurant, food service, or kitchen environment.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with an understanding of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards is preferred but not required.
  • Open availability and ability to work a flexible schedule between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while leading with urgency.
  • High level of initiative, accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn, grow, and develop others.
