Position: Housekeeping

Reports to: Facilities Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly

Essential Functions:

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all areas of the club, including restrooms, locker showers, fitness equipment within the guidelines and procedures of the organization.

General Responsibilities:

· Vacuum all carpet are within the clubhouse building.

· Gather and empty all trash cans throughout the building (excluding the kitchen area).

· Regular dusting/furniture polishing on a regular basis. A printed duties list will assist you in know where to begin and finish.

· Clean picture frames, including Windex of the glass. Regular touch up of all windows needing attention for finger prints. An outside vendor will be responsible for a complete cleaning inside and out.

· Sweep and mop all hard floors/slate on a daily/weekly basis. Refer to cleaning schedule/general daily duties. cleaning

· Remove any and all cobwebs from chandeliers, high ceilings, wall sconce etc.

· Clean furniture, leather cleaner and wood polish as needed.

· Replace door entry carpets as needed. Place dirty mats in linen cart to go out for cleaning.

· Dust TV`s and shelves around direct TV equipment.

· Bring all potential safety issues to your supervisor or manager

Physical and operational requirements:

· Be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. i.e. moving tables and chairs etc.

· Be able to communicate effectively, positively and professionally with guests, supervisors and co-workers.

· Stand for long periods of time.

· Perform multiple tasks in an organized, efficient and accurate fashion while in a fast paced stressful environment.

· Maintain a clean, complete and appropriate uniform for every shift. Must enter and exit the facilities in complete uniform.

· Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude and demeanor while working.
