Kingsland Ace Hardware, your local hardware store deeply rooted in the community, is seeking a highly skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. As a Small Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing riding lawn mowers, walk-behind lawn mowers, string trimmers, pressure washers, blowers, chain saws, generators, etc. Join us in maintaining a clean and safe work environment while providing top-notch service to our valued customers.
Job Tasks Include:
- Small engine repair (Toro, Stihl, Echo, Ego, Craftsman, Generac)
- Tune-Ups (Oil Changes, Replace Worn Parts as Needed)
- Service equipment correctly on the first attempt to ensure proper working condition
- Chain saw and lawn mower blade sharpening
- Assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment
- Assisting customers with parts lookup and diagnostics
- Must be physically able to work in a service department environment for extensive periods which may include some lifting, up to 75lbs
