As a Manager, you will be responsible for running a shift and managing all aspects of the restaurant, including labor, breaks, catering, and customer service. You will also be developing your communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. In addition to managing our team members and team leaders, you will be selected to assist Directors in a role based on your passions and strengths. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service and achieve operational goals
- Shift Management: Oversee all aspects of your assigned restaurant operations during shifts, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Customer Service: Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and personalized service; address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety throughout the restaurant and address any issues promptly
- Food Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation procedures
- Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, including POS system operations, cash reconciliation, and deposit preparation; ensure accuracy and security of all financial transactions
- Problem-Solving: Handle any operational issues or emergencies that arise during shifts, including equipment malfunctions, staffing shortages, or customer incidents; take appropriate action to resolve problems quickly and effectively
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Managers are expected to manage one or two key areas of operational importance
- Be fully aware of the mission, vision, and goals for the month and able to report on progress towards their assigned responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines; ServSafe certification is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
