Dining Room Host/Hostess

We’re looking for our next great Host/Hostess!

Our Host/Hostess role is for individuals who have strong people skills and a desire to make a difference in the lives of those they come in contact with. These Host/Hostesses are friendly, enthusiastic, positive, and hard working. Our Host/Hostess plays a pivotal role in the dining room by delivering exceptional first-mile service through maintaining a clean and friendly environment - attending to tables, chairs, booths, floors, and trash removal - while also engaging in second-mile service by fostering meaningful guest interactions, conversations, and providing personal table touch-ins.


Shifts for our hospitality specialists typically fall within our busiest periods, and may includes 11a-8p. Hours are part-time or full-time. Candidates need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Dining Room Host/Hostess Responsibilities:

  • Smile

  • Make Emotional Connections with Guests
  • Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the Restaurant
  • Multitask quickly, yet thoroughly
  • Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic
  • Work on their feet for several hours at a time
  • Communicate effectively with guests and Team Members
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be at least 14 years of age upon hire date
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a source of reliable transportation
  • Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
  • Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must be able to respond to guest requests and complaints quickly and efficiently
  • Work in a high volume, fast paced environment
