As a Dining Room Host/Hostess, you will play a key role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment where every guest feels cared for. Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Create a warm and welcoming environment by greeting and engaging with guests in a genuine way
- Proactively check on guests to ensure their needs are met and their experience is exceptional
- Anticipate guest needs by offering refills, clearing trays, and providing additional items before being asked
- Respond to guest questions or concerns with care, urgency, and professionalism
- Represent Chick-fil-A’s commitment to “second-mile service” in every interaction
Dining Room Care & Cleanliness
- Maintain a spotless dining room by cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, booths, and high-touch surfaces
- Quickly clear, clean, and reset tables to keep seating readily available for guests
- Routinely monitor and maintain restrooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking
- Manage trash and recycling to keep all areas neat and presentable
- Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards with consistency and attention to detail
Team Support & Attention to Detail
- Continuously observe the dining room to identify opportunities to serve guests or improve cleanliness
- Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a positive and calm demeanor
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Take initiative to go above and beyond in both service and presentation
