Lead the Heart of Our Guest Experience
For over 100 years, the dining room has been one of the gathering places that makes Fair Hills Resort special. Families reconnect over meals, friendships are made around the table, and traditions continue year after year.
We're looking for a positive, energetic Dining Room Manager to lead our front-of-house team and create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is a leadership position that combines staff management, guest relations, and daily restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor seasonal waiter/waitress staff
- Create staff schedules
- Assign daily dining room responsibilities
- Lead and support the dining room team during meal service
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Dining Room Operations
- Create guest table assignments for the duration of their stay
- Ensure efficient and welcoming meal service
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and organization
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Work with the Event Director to coordinate on-site weddings & events
Guest Experience
- Build relationships with returning guests
- Learn guest names and preferences
- Help create the welcoming, family atmosphere that Fair Hills is known for
- Handle guest questions and resolve concerns with professionalism
Qualifications
Restaurant or hospitality management experience is preferred but not required. Leadership ability, organization, and a passion for guest service are most important.

Schedule
Off-Season (October through Mid-May)
- Monday–Friday
- Five-day work week
- 32-40 hour work week
Resort Season (Mid-May through End of September)
- Six-day work week
- Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required
- 48-60 hour work weeks, depending on events

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary Range of $50,000 - $68,000 DOE
- Annual bonus to be awarded at the discretion of ownership
- 401K Match available after the completion of your 2nd season
- $30 cell phone allowance per month
- 15 vacation days (120 hours) per year, to be accrued 5 days (40 hours) at a time, every 3 months after your first day, then annually.
- Paid Holidays: Thanksgiving (2.5 days), Christmas (3 days), New Years (2 days) and Easter (1 day)
- Health Insurance, fully paid on Silver Plan, to start on the 1st of the month 60 days after you start
