Fair Hills is an all-inclusive resort, offering daily recreational activities for guests of all ages. Our recreation staff often serves as the face of the resort, building relationships and creating experiences that keep guests returning year after year.
As a Recreation Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience leading activities for children, youth, and families. This internship is ideal for college students pursuing a degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or Pre-K–12 General Education. You’ll work with three age groups: 4–8, 8–14, and 14–19, while also planning and leading family-oriented activities and staff team-building events.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily activities such as arts & crafts, sports, music, dramatics, and games
- Plan, organize, and execute multiple age-appropriate activities each day
- Lead evening family-oriented activities
- Supervise children and youth while ensuring safety and proper facility use
- Adapt activities to meet participant needs
- Administer basic first aid if needed
- Collaborate with a partner intern, the recreation team, and the Recreation Director
