You’ll help prepare the high-quality food our guests expect while developing valuable skills in teamwork, food safety, communication, organization, and leadership.


Pay: $11–$16 per hour

Schedule: Part-time or full-time, approximately 20–40 hours per week

Evening availability needed: Monday–Saturday

Location: 424 Cox Road, Gastonia, NC

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and assemble Chick-fil-A menu items according to quality standards
  • Follow food-safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures
  • Work in breading, cooking, food preparation, assembly, and support positions
  • Prepare orders accurately and efficiently during busy dinner periods
  • Stock ingredients and keep work areas organized throughout the shift
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment after receiving proper training
  • Communicate clearly and support your teammates
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, surfaces, and work areas
  • Complete stocking, dishwashing, food-storage, and closing responsibilities
  • Help prepare the kitchen for a successful opening the following morning
  • Follow Chick-fil-A standards for food quality, accuracy, speed, and safety

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful but not required. We provide paid training and support you as you learn.


Availability Requirement

Applicants for this Night Shift position must be consistently available from 4:00 p.m. through closing three to five times per week.
