Position Overview

The Director of Back of House Operations leads the people, processes, and systems that drive excellence throughout our kitchen. This leader is responsible for food safety, food quality, speed of service, food cost, labor productivity, inventory, and leadership development.
We are looking for a servant leader who takes ownership, develops people, builds effective systems, and consistently delivers measurable results in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Back of House operations to ensure excellent food quality, safety, accuracy, and speed.
- Own food cost, inventory management, waste reduction, and labor productivity.
- Maintain elite food safety standards and compliance with Chick-fil-A and health department requirements.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop BOH leaders and Team Members.
- Establish clear expectations, measure performance, and hold leaders accountable for results.
- Identify operational challenges and implement systems that improve efficiency and consistency.
- Partner with senior leadership and Front of House leaders to deliver an exceptional Guest experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in restaurant operations or a similar high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety, inventory, cost control, and labor management.
- Proven ability to develop people, solve problems, and drive measurable results.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Servant leadership mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Full-time availability, including Saturdays and flexibility for opening and closing shifts.
