Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential in supporting our kitchen staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients for cooks and chefs.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during peak service times to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures for food handling to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Support catering events by ensuring that all necessary items are cleaned and organized for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and maintain a positive atmosphere in the kitchen.
Skills
