The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a visible, service-driven leader who sets the tone for hospitality on every shift. This role is ideal for individuals who believe exceptional guest experiences are created through presence, communication, and genuine care.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will serve as a Manager on Duty (MOD) on select shifts, actively walking the floor, engaging with guests, supporting the FOH team, and ensuring standards are met consistently. You will partner closely with the General Manager and leadership team to maintain smooth operations while helping develop our people and culture.
This position is best suited for a hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads by example, and understands that great service is both an art and a discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Floor Leadership
- Actively walk the dining room, greet guests, and build rapport throughout service
- Ensure guests receive timely, attentive, and genuine hospitality
- Anticipate and resolve guest concerns with professionalism, warmth, and urgency
- Serve as the hospitality standard-bearer during assigned shifts
FOH Team Leadership
- Supervise FOH staff during service to ensure procedures, service standards, and expectations are followed
- Coach team members in real time to elevate service and professionalism
- Support onboarding, training, and mentorship of new hires
- Reinforce accountability while maintaining a positive, respectful work environments
Operations & MOD Responsibilities
- Open and close the restaurant as scheduled
- Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with scheduling, shift execution, and service flow
- Balance cash registers and verify end-of-shift financial accuracy
Administrative Support
- Assist with light administrative duties as assigned (documentation, checklists, reports)
- Communicate operational updates or concerns to the General Manager
- Support systems that improve efficiency, consistency, and profitability

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting

- Availability to work evenings and weekends
