Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Southern Kitchen recipes and quality standards
- Work efficiently as a Line Cook during high-volume lunch and dinner service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely including grills, fryers, ovens, and sauté stations
- Maintain speed, consistency, and presentation while managing your station during busy shifts
- Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized before, during, and after shifts
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures
- Assist with food prep, stocking, and closing duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and Line Cook responsibilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized while working as a Line Cook during peak service hours
- Passion for food, hospitality, and teamwork
- Dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn and grow
- Ability to remain calm and focused during busy shifts
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
