Your Impact

Ownership of Execution

You prepare and cook menu items according to Southern Kitchen’s recipes and quality standards. From shrimp and grits to daily specials, you respect the craft behind every dish.

You don’t cut corners. You protect the brand with every plate.

Ownership of Standards & Safety

You maintain a clean, organized station and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. You handle equipment — knives, grills, fryers, ovens — with confidence and care.

You understand that discipline in the kitchen builds trust with guests.

Ownership of Team Performance

You collaborate with prep cooks, dishwashers, and fellow line cooks to keep service running smoothly. You communicate when you’re low on product. You step in to help when needed.

You don’t blame the rush — you rise to it.

Ownership of Growth

You participate in training, refine your technique, and stay coachable. You look for ways to improve speed, consistency, and leadership on the line.

You treat every shift as a chance to sharpen your craft.
