Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Southern-inspired dishes on the sauté station with consistency, speed, and attention to presentation
- Properly handle sauté techniques including searing, simmering, pan sauces, and high-heat cooking methods
- Ensure all food is cooked to recipe standards and served fresh and on time
- Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service during busy shifts
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency at the sauté station and throughout the kitchen
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
- Assist with prep work, inventory organization, and kitchen closing duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Sauté Cook or line cook required
- Strong knowledge of sauté cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
- Passion for great food, teamwork, and hospitality
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to grow in the culinary industry
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
- Flexible schedule is a plus
