Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our food manufacturing
team. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, forklift certification, and a
strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. This position plays a key role in
maintaining efficient product flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with food safety
standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and
- efficiently.
- Load and unload raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods from trucks and
- production lines.
- Accurately pick, stage, and ship orders according to production and customer schedules.
- Perform regular inventory counts and maintain organized, clean storage areas.
- Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- requirements.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing products meet company and regulatory standards
- (FIFO rotation, temperature control, labeling).
- Complete and maintain shipping/receiving documentation and warehouse logs.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Report equipment issues, damaged goods, or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred; food industry experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills (inventory systems, scanners, or ERP software).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in temperature-controlled or cold environments.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Must be dependable and able to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
Work Environment:
- Food manufacturing and warehouse setting; may involve exposure to cold, wet, or noisy environments.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
