ACE of Thomasville is looking for associates in the Garden Center!

This is a part time job working approximately 24 to 32 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting plants, gardening supplies and materials.
- Provide advice on plant care and product usage.
- Maintain the garden center's appearance by daily watering of plants, organizing of plants,merchandising of garden accessories (soil, fertilizer, pottery, wheel barrows, etc)
- Quickly identify plants that are stressed and bring them back to life.
- You’ll work directly welcoming customers and helping them find everything necessary to complete their garden project in one trip.
Qualifications:
- Friendly and helpful! Loves PLANTS and providing great customer service.
- Detailed knowledge of gardening practices, plants and landscaping.
- Ability to work in an outside / inside garden area (Sun, Water, Heat).
- Able to help manage pricing and signage throughout the garden center.
- Plant ordering experience is ideal but not required.
What to expect:
- Customer service is our #1 priority! You are- Friendly and helpful! Loves providing great customer service!
- You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (5 to 8 hours).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Our hours of operation are Monday- Saturday 8am to 7pm. Sunday 10am to 6pm. You must have availability to work a combination of weekdays and weekends.
