About the Role
Gardner Construction is hiring an experienced Concrete Finisher / Crew Lead to lead residential concrete installation and foundation repair projects across the Twin Cities.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled concrete professional who takes pride in delivering clean, high-quality finishes and running efficient job sites. If you know concrete, can lead a crew, and want a long-term opportunity with strong pay and growth potential, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead concrete projects from site prep through final finish
- Perform high-quality finishing work (trowel, edging, broom finishes, etc.)
- Read plans, layout work, and ensure jobs are completed to spec
- Supervise, train, and motivate crew members on-site
- Coordinate with management to keep projects on schedule and on budget
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Occasionally work weekends based on project needs
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in concrete finishing (required)
- Prior experience as a crew lead or foreman (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and hold others accountable
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform demanding labor
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Pay & Benefits
- $38-50/ hour, depending on experience
- Higher pay for top-tier finishers and experienced crew leaders
