Patina is looking for a part time driver/warehouse assistant. This individual must have morning to early mid afternoon availablility Mon/Tues/Thurs during the week - approximately 20-25 hours/week. Typical shifts start at 8:00am. Valid driver's license and clean accident/driving record required.
Deliver & Pick Up Transfers/Orders
- Drive merchandise to other store locations, unloading and reloading with transfer
- Deliver customer furniture orders according to company guidelines
- Occasionally pick up supplies/orders from local stores
- Communicate any problems to the Receiving Manager immediately
Assist Receiving Merchandise
- Assist in carrying and organizing daily shipments to the receiving area
- Unpack, organize, and divide product according to specifications
- Offload shipping containers, delivery vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
Warehouse
- Assist in pulling min/max quantities
- Assist in efficiently organizing and categorizing backstock to prevent damages
- Stay familiar with where items are located in warehouse
Prepare Store Transfers
- Prepare merchandise to be transferred to other store locations
- Package transfer merchandise to minimize damages
- Lead team in loading merchandise in transfer vehicle
Price Merchandise
- Price merchandise, according to store guidelines/sample
- Report damages/defects
Requirements: Attention to detail and ability to move up to 40 - 50 pounds, ability to stand for extended periods of time, bending/lifting/carrying. Offers contingent on clean accident and driving records.
Work schedule
- Day shift
