Position: Plumbing Service Coordinator (Customer Service, Dispatching, and Order Management)

The Plumbing Coordinator is an integral part of the Plumbing Division, ensuring efficient coordination, excellent customer service, and smooth workflow. This role requires a person who can handle both administrative tasks and emergency situations with professionalism and accuracy. As a Plumbing Coordinator at Stahl, you will be responsible for handling various tasks, including answering calls, scheduling and dispatching technicians, managing work orders, processing billing, and providing exceptional customer service. This position involves a mix of administrative and customer service responsibilities, as well as serving as an emergency dispatcher for after-hours calls.


Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain Plumbing Division records, including work orders, service reports, and customer information.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative documents.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers, addressing their inquiries, scheduling service appointments, and providing relevant information about services offered.
  • Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and concerns, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, Plumbers, and other stakeholders, maintaining professional communication at all times.
  • Efficiently schedule and dispatch Plumbers to service locations based on priority and availability.
  • Monitor Plumbers' schedules and ensure they adhere to appointments and respond promptly to urgent service requests.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information for work orders, generate Plumbing Division reports when required.
  • Assist with billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to customers.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
  • Serve as the primary emergency dispatcher on a rotating schedule, handling after-hours customer calls.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls, assess the situation, and dispatch technicians for urgent repairs.

Requires:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in Plumbing or HVAC or related fields are a plus.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles and customer service.
  • Knowledge of Plumbing systems, terminology, and industry practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with work order management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
