Job Summary
The City of Pierz is seeking two motivated high school students to assist with summer grounds maintenance at the Pierz Golf Course & Campground. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in landscaping and facility maintenance in a positive community setting.

Scope of Responsibility
Seasonal High School Grounds Crew members assist with daily operational tasks that support course appearance, campground cleanliness, and overall visitor experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate weed whip (string trimmer), push mower, and other light landscaping tools
• Assist with brush cleanup and debris removal
• Fill and distribute water jugs
• Empty fire rings and garbage receptacles
• Maintain cleanliness of shelters and campground facilities
• Assist with general grounds maintenance as assigned
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns promptly
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
• Clean shelters and bathroom facilities in the park and campground

• Basic understanding of landscaping practices preferred

Minimum Qualifications
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Ability to work from Memorial Day through Labor Day (as schedule allows)
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Reliable transportation
