Job Summary
The City of Pierz is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to serve as a Full-Time Rough Mower for the Pierz Golf Course & Campground. This position plays a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and playability of the golf course. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in producing quality results, and works effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Scope of Responsibility
The Rough Mower is responsible for mowing rough areas and assisting with general golf course and campground maintenance. This position supports daily course operations and works closely with the Golf Course Leads to ensure high-quality conditions for visitors and community members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate rough mowers and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform mowing of roughs and assist with mowing greens and weekend tasks.
• Assist with minor operational and maintenance tasks as assigned
• Follow all safety procedures and report equipment or safety concerns promptly
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of basic grounds maintenance practices preferred
• Ability to safely operate mowing and landscaping equipment (training provided)
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Minimum Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week, including some weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
