Objective


The Director of Marketing & Team Culture is responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening brand presence, and cultivating a culture of care across the restaurant. This role bridges business performance and team experience, ensuring both guests and team members feel valued and connected to our mission.


Top Priorities

  • Grow overall sales (transactions, check average, outside sales)
  • Expand mobile, delivery, and catering channels
  • Build and sustain a strong team culture
  • Strengthen community presence and brand awareness


Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans
  • Manage marketing budget and campaign performance
  • Lead social media, email, and in-store promotions
  • Maintain brand consistency across all platforms

Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Own goals for catering, delivery, mobile, and overall sales
  • Build partnerships with local businesses, schools, and organizations
  • Identify opportunities to increase traffic and check average
  • Oversee catering systems and client experience, demonstrating a willingness to assist with production and delivery

Community Engagement & Brand Presence

  • Plan and execute community events, fundraisers, and promotions
  • Represent the brand at local events
  • Build long-term relationships that grow brand loyalty

Team Culture & Engagement

  • Lead recognition systems (birthdays, anniversaries, milestones)
  • Plan team celebrations and appreciation events
  • Maintain communication boards and recognition systems
  • Develop systems that improve retention and engagement

Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and develop marketing/sales team members
  • Build a leadership bench for future growth
  • Ensure accountability to brand standards and execution

Systems & Execution

  • Maintain marketing calendar and track results
  • Manage marketing inventory and assets
  • Respond to donation and partnership requests
  • Support operations as needed*

Success Metrics

  • Sales growth (transactions, check average)
  • Catering, delivery, and mobile sales growth
  • Social media engagement and reach
  • Community partnerships established
  • Team engagement and retention

Schedule Expectations (flexible)

  • 15-30 hours/week
  • Occasional evenings, Saturdays, holidays
