Responsibilities
As a Back of House Team Member, you’ll play a crucial role in preparing and presenting food safely, quickly, and efficiently. Your main responsibilities include:
- Preparing, cooking, assembling, and presenting food in accordance with Chick-fil-A standards
- Mastering kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembly, boards, and food prep)
- Stocking and maintaining kitchen inventory
- Keeping kitchen areas clean, neat, and orderly
- Staying updated on Chick-fil-A’s new menu items
- Safely operating kitchen equipment and reporting maintenance needs
- Completing assigned opening and closing duties
- Adhering to all Chick-fil-A policies and dress codes
Qualifications
Ideal candidates are:
- Consistent and reliable
- Cheerful, positive, and passionate about customer service
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with their schedules and able to work weekends as needed
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift/carry [insert weight range] lbs regularly
