Saturday & Sunday Fitness Center Attendant - Janitorial
Job description
The Fitness Center Attendant provides customer service through interaction with members while ensuring the fitness facility remains clean, organized and sanitary.
Essential Duties:
- Knowledge of exercise equipment while following sanitation requirements.
- Perform all sanitation and cleaning requirements in accordance to chemical and standard procedures.
- Ensure the fitness facility remains clean and organized; organize dumbbells, weight plates, and bars.
- Ensure pool areas are tidy, and perform pool/deck cleaning.
- Ensure locker rooms are kept clean and sanitary.
- Disinfect and clean equipment routinely throughout the shift.
- Inspect facility for required maintenance and create service requests as needed.
- Maintain a clean workspace.
- Do laundry as needed.
- Help out in other areas of the facility when needed.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent
- Knowledge of exercise equipment and general fitness facility protocols (preferred).
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to current members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. for short distances.
- Maintain professional appearance and wear designated uniforms/conform to dress code.

Job Types: Part-time. Saturdays and Sundays.
Salary: $18 - $19 per hour
