What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful operation of our restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front-of-house operations. Your main objective will be to maintain exceptional guest experiences, uphold high service standards, and drive overall profitability.
What You’ll Bring (Requirements):
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
- A High School Diploma is preferred.
- Proficiency in POS systems.
- Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are required.
- Formal culinary training is preferred.
- Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew.
- Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
- Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
