Job Description
As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the restaurant manager in profitably operating the restaurant within the practices and procedures established by Company Operations. This position is responsible for cost control, customer service, restaurant and employee appearance, building sales, maximizing profits, and employee development.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring excellent guest experiences
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members while maintaining Cantina Laredo service and hospitality standards
- Monitor food quality, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and alcohol regulations
- Assist with scheduling, labor control, inventory management, and cost control
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure consistent customer satisfaction
- Support sales growth through floor leadership, upselling, and team performance
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
- Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
- Use ladders occasionally
- Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
