Job Description
As the Host/Hostess, you could be responsible for greeting (both arriving and departing) and seating all guests in a friendly manner, assisting in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Proficiency in POS systems.
- Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
- Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
- Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
- Use ladders occasionally
- Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
- Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
