Job Description
he GNC Team Member plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing knowledgeable service, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and supporting store operations. This position focuses on educating customers about nutritional products while driving sales and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
As a full or part-time Team Member at GNC, you are the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and educating customers on health, fitness, and nutrition. You’ll develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering knowledgeable product recommendations supported by GNC's comprehensive training program. Your role includes assisting customers, handling transactions, managing merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness. This high-energy position offers opportunities to enhance your communication and organizational skills, with potential growth into leadership or corporate roles. GNC provides the training needed to become an expert in health and wellness products.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Health Supplements industry, preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Passion to Live Well!
- Self-motivated
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (i.e., Holidays, weekends)
- Able to withstand comfortably the physical demands of a retail environment.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
- Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
- Use ladders occasionally
- Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
