Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Corporate Compliance and Contracts Attorney to support our Legal department in managing business needs and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in a law office or corporate environment, with familiarity in governmental applications, company formation and maintenance, state forms, and reporting. Experience with corporate compliance, employment, franchise, mergers and acquisitions, or transactional law is highly valuable. Confidence, adaptability, and the ability to take on new assignments independently are key to success in this role.


Responsibilities

The Corporate Compliance and Contracts Attorney will oversee corporate compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. This includes providing legal guidance on compliance-related matters, contracts, and regulatory requirements, as well as conducting audits, reviews, and investigations into compliance risks. The role will design and deliver compliance training programs, draft and update company policies, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate compliance practices across business functions. Additionally, the attorney will manage investigations into compliance breaches, prepare detailed reports, liaise with regulatory agencies, and support the development of new business initiatives.


Requirements

  • Must have Franchise experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience as a compliance attorney or in a similar role, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of corporate compliance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience as a practicing, licensed attorney in good standing for 5–7 years (required).
