Chick-fil-A Odessa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated FOH Operations Director to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role is responsible for overseeing all FOH operations — from order taking to food delivery — ensuring that every guest receives friendly, accurate, and fast service that reflects Chick-fil-A’s commitment to hospitality.

As FOH Operations Director, you will set the pace for service excellence, build and develop a strong team, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, speed, and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop FOH team members to deliver Chick-fil-A’s signature hospitality.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and positivity.

Guest Experience Oversight

  • Ensure fast, accurate, and friendly service across front counter, drive-thru, and dining room operations.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement improvements to elevate service.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage daily FOH operations, including cash handling, line flow, and guest interactions.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, order accuracy, and speed of service.

Collaboration with Kitchen

  • Partner with BOH leadership to ensure seamless food handoff and order accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH teams to maximize guest satisfaction.

Shift & Staff Management

  • Ensure FOH shifts are properly staffed and team members are equipped for peak service times.
  • Quickly resolve service or staffing issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Performance & Efficiency

  • Track key performance indicators such as order accuracy, speed of service, and guest feedback.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and elevate the guest experience.

Training & Mentorship

  • Train FOH team members in service standards, order accuracy, and guest care.
  • Develop future FOH leaders through coaching and intentional growth opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of proven leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or restaurant management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest care
  • Experience leading a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage cash handling, order systems, and guest feedback effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lead during peak shifts
