Job Description:

Athens Chick-fil-A is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Human Resources Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources within the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the restaurant industry. The Human Resources Intern will work closely with our HR team to support recruitment, employee relations, and other HR functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
  2. Onboarding Assistance: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including completing paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  3. Employee Relations: Help maintain positive employee relations by addressing questions and concerns, assisting with conflict resolution, and promoting a supportive work environment.
  4. HR Administration: Assist with various administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, updating policies and procedures, and compiling reports as needed.
  5. Special Projects: Contribute to special HR projects and initiatives as assigned, which may include researching best practices, developing training materials, or participating in community outreach efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Genuine interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in HR or customer service roles is a plus, but not required.
